Italian soccer club AC Milan have partnered with energy firm Invent, which becomes the official green energy partner of the seven-time European champions.
Joining for the duration of the 2018/19 season, the Italian company has specialised in producing eco-friendly energy solutions since its establishment in 2006.
The Venice-based firm has a number of partnerships in Italian soccer, recently becoming a sponsor of Torino. Milan’s city rivals Inter and Sampdoria also currently have deals with Invent.
Milan director of partnerships Mauro Tavola said: “We are sure that the union of our brands will serve to accelerate the growth and development process that our club has undertaken with great determination also in the field of sustainability.”
Invent founder Sante Bortoletto added: “Milan has written a memorable page of football history becoming one of the strongest and most famous clubs in the world. On the other hand, our ambition aims to leave an equally important sign in a rapidly developing sector such as the green economy.”
AC Milan have been in good form of late on the pitch, winning their last three league games to go fourth in the Serie A table.
