The National Football League’s (NFL) Atlanta Falcons have announced that they will live stream all of their pre-season games on their newly redesigned app.
Both the Falcons and their Mercedes-Benz Stadium have both launched new apps ahead of the 2019 season, promising that each digital platform will provide fans with an improved user experience.
As well as live streaming of the Falcons’ final preparations for the new campaign, the team app will deliver news, transactions, player access, gameday highlights and more exclusive content. There will also be daily editorial coverage including videos, photos and podcasts.
The gameday app, meanwhile, will give fans access to their digital Ticketmaster account and the ability to easily and securely transfer tickets. In addition, the platform will house interactive stadium maps, concession and restaurant menus and a 24/7 virtual concierge.
“I’m excited about what the future holds as we continue to tell powerful Falcons stories and deliver more immersive experiences to our fans,” said Morgan Shaw Parker, vice president and chief marketing officer of Falcons owners AMB Sports & Entertainment. “This new app just scratches the surface of what is to come.”
The Falcons play their next pre-season fixture against the New York Jets on Thursday before kicking off the new NFL season with a trip to the Minnesota Vikings on 8th September.
