ITN Productions extends ICC digital content partnership

ITN Productions Sport has renewed its partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to edit highlights packages from two major tournaments to be used by ICC partners and the wider media.

Shorter fast-turnaround content from the ICC World Twenty20 2018 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will also be tailored for licensees and the ICC’s digital platforms.

ITN worked on last year’s ICC Champions Trophy and Women’s World Cup, reacting as matches unfold and focusing on clips that provide viral potential.

“We were very happy with ITNP’s editorial and publishing solutions provided during cricket’s global pinnacle events in 2017,” said Aarti Singh Dabas, ICC’s head of media rights, broadcast and digital.

“We are continually striving to deliver faster and better-quality content to our fans and partners and we are confident that ITN will successfully help us deliver that objective during our two major events.”

As well as the ICC, ITN Productions Sport – a joint venture production partner for the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and the long-term production partner for the English Football League (EFL) – produces multimedia coverage for major sports organisations, including the Premier League, International Olympic Committee (IOC), and Team GB.

“As an experienced partner of the ICC we’re delighted to continue to bring their digital content to life,” said Tim Godfrey, partnerships director for ITN Productions Sport.

“Our technical workflow is tried and tested to ensure that high quality footage is delivered to fans and stakeholders as quickly as possible.”
