English top-flight soccer outfit West Ham United have signed a strategic partnership with blockchain-based fan engagement platform, Socios.com.
West Ham have become the first Premier League club to join the platform and follow French champions Paris Saint-Germain and Italian giants Juventus.
Socios.com allows fans to vote on select club decisions via buying, earning or hunting for fan tokens. These fan tokens will also allow supporters to access rewards, exclusive merchandise and experiences.
The platform will be available to Hammers fans from the start of the 2019/20 season and supporters will be able to purchase the fan tokens either through the web or app platforms.

On the pitch, West Ham sit 11th in the Premier League after beating rivals Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Saturday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, becoming the first club to beat Spurs at their new ground.
