Boston Celtics and Bruins get mobile ticketing with new TD Garden app

TD Garden, home of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Boston Celtics and National Hockey League’s (NHL) Boston Bruins, has partnered with technology platform Venuetize to create a new platform offering mobile ticketing functionality.

The mobile application, available on Android and iOS, will allow users to purchase and store game tickets, as well as parking reservations. It will also act as a digital wallet for supporters to pay for food, beverages and merchandise on site. Venuetize is also planning to add in-seat ordering for food delivery during events to the platform.

Other features include restaurant or accommodation reservations located within The Hub on the Causeway entertainment district that surrounds the venue.

TD Garden president, Amy Latimer, said: “Mobile technologies are a vital component in how we can provide our guests with all of the information they need at their fingertips in order to reduce friction points when visiting TD Garden and The Hub on Causeway.”

TD Garden opened its The Hub retail and entertainment complex in November, a joint project between Boston Properties and stadium owners Delaware North.

The Boston Celtics currently sit third in the NBA Eastern Conference, while the Bruins top the NHL’s Atlantic Division.
