Italian soccer giants Inter Milan have revealed new features to their official app, including the addition of augmented reality (AR).
The technology now allows users to apply club-themed filters, find their seat at the San Siro stadium, create their own staring eleven and formation, and take to the pitch using the app during matchdays.
The club have also announced a new partnership with Edilkamin until the end of the 2020/21 season. The stove, fireplace and boiler manufacturer joins as official winter partner and will have its branding visible inside the San Siro on advertising boards, as well as the main screen during home games.
Additionally, Edilkamin will feature on all communications placed at the entrance to hospitality areas at the stadium and press room at Inter’s training ground.
Alessandro Antonello, Inter chief executive, said of the deal: "The partnership is built upon the foundations of innovation – a value which has characterised both Inter and Edilkamin through history. We are certain that this two-year agreement will facilitate many opportunities for successful collaboration."
Stefano Borsatti, Edilkamin director, added: "For the first time in the history of our company, we have made the decision to seek a high-level sports partnership.
“We are certain that our association with the iconic Inter brand will allow us to increase brand awareness both in the Italian and in international markets. In addition, the possibility of entering into the homes of millions of football fans will certainly support our sales network.”
